Permission to Walk - Parent Guide

If you’d like to let your child walk home on their own from the school bus stop, you can give permission directly in SchoolsBuddy. This helps the school know your wishes and keeps your child safe.

To authorise your child to walk from the transport stop

1. Select the circle icon in the top right of the page
2. Click on My Account

   

3. Click on the Main Menu icon in the top-left hand corner to open up the main menu.
4. Select the Walking Permission tab.
5. Tick the box 'Allowed to walk from their transport stop' to give permission for your child to walk from their transport stop.  You can add specific requirements as needed in the text box.
6. Click Save.
