If you would like to enable Powerschool Single Sign-on for your school, please contact the Support team and we will send you a plugin to in install in Powerschool.
The plugin can be configured for all staff, parents and students, or a combination of these as required. We can provide a video on how to install your plugin if required.
Go to PowerSchool > System > System Settings > Plugin Management Configuration
Please note:
- SchoolsBuddy authenticates users with email addresses, so the email address of the contact with Data Access in PowerSchool must match the contact email address synced to SchoolsBuddy via GG4L (usually Mother or Father by default).
- PowerSchool SSO only works if the users are logging into PowerSchool directly with their email and passwords. If users log in to PowerSchool through another SSO (Azure/Google), we will not be able to authenticate them.

After you have installed the plugin you will need to submit your PowerSchool host URL, the Client ID and Secret on this form.
We will also need you to separately send us a Signing Key (key.pem file) from within PowerSchool settings. To do this, click on the following links in PowerSchool as an Admin user:
1. Setup > System
2. Server > System Settings
3. Digital Certificate Management
4. Export JWT Signing (Internal)
