In this article, we’ll show you how to check your Diary/Calendar in SchoolsBuddy, where you can view your child’s schedule, school events, and important activities all in one place. You can do this either on the app or with a browser.
Step 1: Log in to SchoolsBuddy
Open the SchoolsBuddy app on your mobile device.
Log in using your email address and password, or tap the SSO option if your school supports it.
Step 2: Open the Diary
On the App:
After logging in, you may see the Upcoming Events section on your homepage, which shows your nearest upcoming events.
To view more events, tap Diary / Calendar on the bottom navigation bar.
On the Browser:
- On your homepage, you will see your children's event for today, Click on the date to go to the diary/calendar
- Or, click on the 'My Diary' / 'My Calendar' tab down below
Step 3: View Diary Entries
In your diary, you may see:
School events and activities
Parent-teacher conferences
Clubs, trips, or sports fixtures
Tap on any diary entry to view more details, such as the time, location, and additional notes from the school.

Step 4: Switch Dates or Views
Use the date range controls at the top of the screen to move between different days or months.

Step 5: Check Multiple Children (if applicable)
If you have more than one child at the school, all of your children’s schedules will appear in your diary/calendar.
Use the child selector (usually at the top of the screen) to filter children.
The diary will update automatically to show the selected child’s schedule.

Check your diary regularly to stay informed about upcoming events.
Scroll down on the diary/calendar page to force a reload
If an event is missing or looks incorrect, contact your school directly.
