Adding additional Staff to a Group

Groups in SchoolsBuddy can only have one Lead Organiser, but if multiple staff members need access to view the group in their calendar / diary and take registers you can add more staff to the group.

  1. Click the Reception tab.



  2. Click the Groups tab.



  3. Use the filters to find the correct group. If you are searching for a group that you are not the organising, you must unclick the My Groups toggle box.
  4. When the correct group has been found, select it.
  5. Click the People tab.
  6. Click the Staff tab.
  7. You can either add one staff member or multiple. Click either the blue Add Multiple or Add tab.




  8. When clicking on Add Multiple, you can search for a staff member by Name, Year/Grade, Group or Gender. Once you have selected your search options, click on the Search button.
  9. To add the staff member, click the green '+' symbol. When selected, they will appear under the Selected column.
  10. You can also remove staff members by clicking the red trash icon.



  11. When the correct staff members have been selected, click the green Save tab.




  12. The staff changes will have now been applied to the group. An example of this is shown in the image below.
