Making after school club selections and choosing transport options in the app (ASAs, ECAs, CCAs)
For parents choosing after school activities and transport in the SchoolsBuddy app.
Choose activities
-
Select Bookings, or choose the sign-up you want under Available Signups.
-
Select X to close the help information (you can open it again). Select the day or days to see the groups available to your child or children. You can also search for a group name.
-
Choose the activities you want. Popular clubs fill up, so you might not get your first choice (1). Add a 2nd choice (2), 3rd choice (3) and so on, up to 5 choices depending on your school's settings, to give your child a good chance of an activity. N/A means not applicable or not chosen.
-
When you have finished, select Next (4) to review your choices, then select ✅ (5) to send them to the school. To change your choices, select Edit on the review page. You can also select Save for later, for example to check with your partner or children first.
Choose transport
Your school might ask whether your children need transport home after clubs. If it does not, skip to Confirm your choices.
-
Choose Bus yes or no, select the bus, route and stop, then select OK.
-
If your school allows it, change some days to Walk or Parent pick up. If you have more than one child, complete the form for each child, then select OK.
Choose transport for every day, even if your child has a club on only one day. The school needs to know what to do if your child is late going home on any day.
Confirm your choices
-
Read the terms and select I agree to the terms and conditions. Your choices are sent to the school.
-
You receive a confirmation email.
After you submit
The school allocates clubs automatically once all parents have made their choices. You then receive another email saying which clubs have or have not been allocated.
You can see allocated clubs in the Calendar (or Diary).
