Pick the right module before you build a sign-up
SchoolsBuddy has several ways to take bookings. Choosing the right one first saves rebuilding later.

| Instant Book | Places confirmed immediately, with upfront payment if needed | First come, first served |
| Parents' Evening (PTC) | Appointments between families and teachers, in person or online | Publish meetings once schedules are ready |
| Trips Portal | Whole-school or year group trips with consent and no upfront payment | Cannot take deposits |
| Instant Book for trips | Several destinations to choose from, or a deposit on booking | One form for the whole container |
| Sports Portal | Teams, fixtures, selection and match reports | Parents consent before selection |

Not sure? Ask yourself two questions: do families need to pay upfront, and is demand likely to be higher than the places available? Upfront payment points to Instant Book. High demand points to Preference.
