If Stripe is available in your country and you would like to integrate SchoolsBuddy with Stripe to collect payments from parents, please follow the steps in this article. *Please note that SchoolsBuddy charges a 0.5% fee per transaction for maintaining the integration.
1. On your SchoolsBuddy homepage, please click on your Avatar on the top right corner.
2. Select the Admin tab.
3. Select the 'Stripe' tab once you are on the admin page.
4. Link/Create Stripe Account.
5. The link should take you to a page like this. Use the school finance email and set a password. You will need to enter a mobile number to receive an authentication text, or download Google Authenticator to set up two-step authentication.
6. Input the school details and complete the account creation. (the information required could be different)
Please let us know once you have created your account. We will apply a test charge for you to test the payment.
⚠️ Important note:
If you are an existing SchoolsBuddy customer, creating the link will immediately activate payments on your site. Parents will be able to make payments right away, so we recommend only creating the link when you are ready to start accepting them.
