Quick answer

On an iPhone or iPad, turn off the Safari pop-up blocker if the card page does not appear. For other errors, check the card details saved in your browser, try a private window, then contact your school with the details listed below.

Fix a payment that will not go through

Most payment errors come from a blocked pop-up or out-of-date saved card details. Work through these checks in order.

Try these first

  1. Card page not appearing on an iPhone or iPad? Safari is blocking the pop-up. Turn off the pop-up blocker and try again.

  2. Check saved card details. If your browser or a password manager fills in your card or billing address, the saved details may be out of date. Type them in yourself, or update the saved details.

  3. Try a private window. A private or incognito window stops saved details and browser extensions from interfering. Sign in to SchoolsBuddy there and try the payment again.

Still rejected? Contact your school

Your school manages its payment provider, so it can look into a rejected payment. Send the school office:

  • Your name and your child's name
  • The email address you use to sign in to SchoolsBuddy
  • The activity or event you were paying for, and its cost
  • The card type and the last 4 digits of the card
⚠️ Important

Never send your full card number or CVC. The SchoolsBuddy team can only take payment questions from your school, not from parents directly.
