Adjustments
SchoolsBuddy allows you to manually make adjustments to the parents' wallet. In order to perform these actions, you must have the Fees permission and the Advanced Fee admin permission. If you don't have the permissions, please ask the super admin to assign this for you.
To access the Wallet Accounts Overview tab:
- Click on 'Fees' on the homepage
2. Click on 'Wallet Accounts Overview' in the menu panel
This tab shows you all the credits in the parents' wallet. You can search for a parent by their first name or last name. By default this screen shows the parents that have the highest credit balance.
There are 3 options on this page :
- View Transactions
- Credit - Giving Funds to the wallet
- Withdrawal - Removing Funds from the wallet
(Credit and Withdrawal are only available if you have the Advanced Fee Admin permission)
View Transactions
Click the 'View Transactions' tab to see the credit transaction history
Related transactions will be shown when you check the 'Show Source Transactions' box.
Credit
The Credit option allows you to add an amount to the parent's wallet. This is useful if you wish to give referral bonuses for activities. Please note you do not need to raise credits for a parent when issuing a refund, the credits will be automatically assigned when you adjust the student's account.
To raise credit:
- Add a description
- Add a reference
- Enter the amount you wish to credit
- Click 'Raise Credit'
It is advisable to include a reference for each credit raised, to ensure that you maintain accurate records for future reference.
Withdrawal
The Withdrawal option allows you to remove an amount from the parent's wallet. It is important to withdraw the credits from the parents' wallets after you process a bank transfer or credit card refund.
It's recommended that you always add a reference and a description of withdrawal so you have some records in the future.
To withdraw credits:
- Add a description
- Add a reference
- Enter the amount you wish to withdraw
- Click 'Withdraw'
It is advisable to consistently include a reference for each credit withdrawal, to ensure that you maintain records for future reference.
